Show of Strength...Northern Ireland Strongman Glenn Ross and former international rugby player turned farmer Simon Best are getting prepared for this years Northern Ireland Countryside Festival. The event is back bigger and better with the focus this year on the wonderful world of industry, heritage and culture in Ulster.  
The two-day spectacular will feature three great events in one giant festival  the National Countrysports Fair, Finn McCool Strongman Festival and the brand new Back to Our Roots Festival  on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May at Moira Demesne. Highlights will include items displayed by the Ulster Aviation Society, a Farmer-a-thon and traditional music at the Back to Our Roots Festival, the Cossack Horsemen, falconry and dog ability shows at the National Countrysports Fair and some of the strongest men in the UK competing in the Finn McCool Strongman Festival. A FORMER teacher now working as a full time artist is staging an exhibition in Lisburn Library running from June 4.

THE Northern Ireland Countryside Festival is back again in Moira Demesne over the weekend of May 25-26 and it’s bigger and better this year with a focus on the family entertainment, countryside activities and the heritage and culture of Northern Ireland.
