Horseshoe competition at Scenic Inn
The date is September 23 and anyone who is interested in playing singles is urged to enter particularly as there will be cash prizes for the winner and runner-up.
In July, The Scenic Inn ran the first ever horseshoe event in response to an interest expressed by patrons of the popular venue.

Its popularity was enhanced when a barbecue provided those present with burgers, sausages etc.
Winner on the day was local man, Willie Culbertson, who enjoyed a relatively easy passage to the final as well as in the final itself.
However, this time he could face more stiff competition with more experienced throwers likely to enter including some from the Mosside Clodders as well as from Windyhall, Magilligan and Limavady.
