Galacticos settle for a draw with Scorpions
Greenisland Colts continued their new adventure when they played host to the Hit Men and Her. Sara Greenberg registered her second hat-trick in as many weeks as the visitors secured a 10-4 win.
League leaders Swift needed to get back to winning ways after their shock exit from the Knockout cup last time out. They did just that, winning the first session 5-2 and whitewashing Teddy Bears 7-0 in the second. Best on the night was Kyle Kirkwood, Stuart Mclean, Dee Irwin, Rab Butler, Andrew Arbuthnot all scoring 2/2.

Hide AdAlpha lost out 9-5 to Clare Roberts’ ever-improving Warriors team, while Eastway went down on the same scoreline to Cowboys.
Doagh Weapons hosted Greenisland Working Men’s Club and found themselves with a match on their hands as they trailed 4-3 at the break. However a 6-1 success in the second session saw them emerge as 9-5 overall winners. Stand-out performances came from Michael Higgins with two eight-ball clearances, and new boy Rab McCullough who pocketed a hat-trick.
In an amazing derby match, Trojans came back from 0-7 deficit against Spartans to rescue a deserved point in a 7-7 draw. It should have been a formality for the more experienced Spartans but frame after frame slipped away and it eventually fell to Neil McFaul to sink the final black.
