U9s get two wins at Brownstown
In the first game in a very even affair the town found themselves one down early on but a neat passing move and a sidefoot finish by Ryan Meara made the scoreline 1-1.
With the Town pushing foward Oxford got a second on the counter attack when the Oxford forward gave Town keeper Kyle Bradford no chance with a great effort.

Hide AdAfter this Banbridge went foward for the equaliser with Lee Whitten striking a post but Oxford held on for the 2-1 win.
In the second game against Lurgan Town Banbridge continued their attacking football from their first game with the young town lads recording an emphatic 13-0 win with Adam Hamilton scoring four while Alex Innocenzi and Patrick McGrath grabbed a hat trick each with Josh Kerr adding another two and Jack Murray scoring his first of the season.
This was a great team performance from the goalkeeper out with Lee Whitten and Calum Kermath in defence then Alex Innocenzi, Jack Murray and Ryan Meara putting in a great shift in midfield with Josh Kerr and Patrick McGrath adding some wonderful passing and up top Adam Hamilton always providing the goal threat.
