Curry shows his class as Bleachgreen men stay up
On Saturday Eglinton took on Ardmore where the winners were guaranteed Premiership cricket next season.
Eglinton batting first scored 254 for 6 in their 50 overs with Craig Averill scoring 70 and Stephen Smyth hitting a whirlwind 49. Andrew Riddles with 3 for 46 was the best of the Ardmore bowlers.

Hide AdIn reply Ardmore opening pair of Ciaran Curley and Paul McDowell put on 54 for the first wicket.
They had reached 92 for 3 when Decker Curry and Andrew Riddles came together and they shared in a partnership of 102 to leave their side in a strong position however Ireland international Stuart Thompson came back into the attack.
He bowled Curry for 64, Riddles followed soon after scoring 56 and the later batsmen failed as they were all out for 231 and a 23 run defeat.
Ardmore were back in action on Sunday this time Glendermott were their opponents with the winners certain of top flight cricket next season.

Hide AdArdmore batted first and once again it was that man Curry who was the star scoring a magnificent 84 in his sides total of 212 all out he got good support from Andrew Riddles and Peter Harrigan who made 36 and 31 respectively.
Glendermott were soon in trouble and slumped to 79 for 8 eventually all out for just 91 with Gary Neely returning figures of 4 for 20 and that man Curry taking 3 for 8, this result was a big relief for the men from the Bleachgreen.
Incidently Curry has scored over 1200 runs this season, can’t beat class.
