Unionist impressed with cross-border trip
Cllr Willie Graham said it was an enjoyable trip.
He was joined by two other councillors in a trip which had an element of controversy in the build-up when Independent councillor Randal McDonnell said he would “rather go to Outer Mongolia” than Nenagh.
But the comments were not taken too seriously by some councillors in Nenagh who said they were aware of Randal’s capacity for ‘quips’.

Hide AdNenagh representatives always attend the Lammas Fair and they asked for Moyle councillors to visit their area.
Cllr Graham said he and his colleagues went to Nenagh on a recent weekend when they were “very well received and welcomed” by the Council Chairperson and other councillors.
Cllr Graham said the Moyle delegation was taken to a rugby match in Limerick on the Friday night and shopping on Saturday ahead of an official dinner on the Saturday night before returning home on the Sunday.
“It was very good,” he added.
