SYNC participants continue to showcase their talents
On Saturday December 14 young rock bands, singers, electronic musicians, ensembles and singer songwriters will strut their collective stuff on the most unique stage in the city - the Playtrail Auditorium, while on Friday, December 20, the Nerve Centre will host a SYNC youth electronica concert with every beat dropped by its budding DJs and producers.
SYNC is a ‘Music Promise in the Community’ initiative at the core of the City of Culture 2013 programme. Throughout the year, the Nerve Centre’s SYNC programme has delivered a series of ground breaking creative music and performance workshops in every part of the city, engaging with hundreds of young musicians and providing unique performance opportunities at Glasgowbury, Music City, live appearances on radio and mentoring with Musician in Residence Neil Cowley.
