According to one of the organisers, Mr Robert Thompson, the last few meetings of the organising committee hae been successful and a number of organisations are involved in running events.
Mr Thompson says it is his understanding that the proposal to erect a monument to Robert Quigg is “going down well” with Bushmills people and he is hoping that those attending the exhibition will help raise funds to honour the war hero who is buried at Billy Parish Church.
“The exhibition will enable us to speak to a lot of people whose assistance we would value in organising events,” Mr Thompson said.
The event is regarded as one of the best in the country.
