Police take action at Ballycastle harbour
There have been ongoing problems with so-called ‘boy racers’ in the area and in an attempt to stop the anti-social driving ramps and flowerbeds are to be put in.

Hide AdIn the mean time police continue to target the area and it is understood at least one of the tickets given out at the weekend was for a vehicle making excessive noise.
Police received reports of cars “rallying up and down” at Bayview Road in the harbour area around 1am on Sunday.
Police said they were in the area 15 minutes before.
Police also received a report at 1.42am on Friday of two cars “racing” on the main Coast Road in the Cushendall area.
A PSNI spokesman said: “We have been dealing with anti-social motoring in Ballycastle and there are also problems in Cushendall. It is hard to be in two places at once.”

Hide AdPolice have also had motoring incidents to deal with in Bushmills. At 7.30pm on Tuesday June 1 a car was seized because it was uninsured.
The PSNI spokesman said: “We now have the power to seize uninsured vehicles and that will continue”.
