Normal bin service to resume after chaos

FOLLOWING a week of weather chaos, those who have had to make do without bin collections lately will be glad to know alternative arrangements have been made.

Banbridge District Council has said normal service will resume, depending on weather conditions, in areas where bins are scheduled for collection today (Tuesday) and tomorrow.

Households whose black bin collection was missed last Thursday and Friday (January 7 and 8) are advised to leave their black bin out for collection this week (14 and 15 January) along with their normal scheduled brown bin. This change has been made for this week only so as to facilitate catch-up collections, if weather conditions allow.
