New premises at Nelson Street for East Antrim U3A
The East Antrim branch of U3A - standing for University of the Third Age - covers the Carrick, Larne, Ballyclare and Newtownabbey areas.
It is one of 25 branches in the province and only the second to purchase a property, thanks to the generosity of one of its members.

It develops friendship for the lonely and interest groups for those looking for something to do.”
The new venue at 12 Nelson Street consists of a substantial hall and another smaller hall for meetings; an office, kitchen and toilet facilities.
The branch will be running a series of workshops before Christmas, including card-making and wreath-making.
