‘Murder’ in library
The pupils of Laurelhill soon took it upon themselves to hunt for clues after discovering the ‘murder scene’ and the all too familiar blue police tape surrounding a corner of the library, taping off an outline of the body.
Each week pupils are to find three sets of clues to find out who was murdered, who did it and most importantly how they died.

Pupils are still searching in the library for the clue as they draw closer to discovering the truth of what happened that fateful night.
Laurelhill Librarian Mrs McKinley explained: “This exciting event will improve their research and literacy skills for the future and encourage the pupils to use the library and start reading more.”
It’s not just the year 8 pupils who are taking part, many other students including the Lower Sixth, who simply couldn’t contain their Sherlockesque tendencies any longer are also attempting to unravel the mystery of the murder in the library.
