Legacurry WI round up
The guest speaker at Legacurry WI’s monthly meeting in March was Elaine from the Turnip House Tea Room and Craft Shop, Ballyward where knitwear and felt made products are produced, on site.
The ladies were given a task to make covers for Biro pens. Wool was sprayed with soapy water then wrapped round the pen, and rolled in bubble wrap.
The winners in the Fancy Pen competition were Gillian Hunter, Anna Magee and Irene McKeown.
