Kidney failure man's plea for new home
Wesley Hanlon, who lives in a one bedroom flat in the Ballyduff estate, was given the devastating news about his health in 2008. Now, he is appealing to the Northern Ireland Housing Executive for a move to larger property to accommodate a dialysis unit.
The 38-year-old currently travels to Antrim Area Hospital three times a week for medical care but has also learnt how to administer treatment himself.

Hide Ad"I have been waiting for about a year for a new property from the Housing Executive but I don't seem to be getting anywhere with them," he said.
"If I had a second room it would effectively be converted into a mini dialysis ward. It means that I can do it at home and more often."
Mr Hanlon said his life had changed dramatically because of his health problems.
