DVA staff urge Times readers to sign e-petition
The petition calls on the the Prime Minister and the Government (through the responsible Minister, Stephen Hammond) to revisit the proposed merger of Vehicle Licensing Services to a single centralised administration in Swansea in Wales.
The staff believe that the centralisation plans will have a significant impact on the local economy.

Staff are hoping for 100,000 signatures so that the issue may be considered for debate at Westminister.
One staff member told The Times: “We are really urging people to get behind us.
“Our jobs are on the line, so it is really important that the people of the area get behind our campaign.
“The loss of our jobs, as everyone knows, would have a serious impact on a town the size of Coleraine.”
