Council fly the flag for the Armed Forces

BALLYMONEY Borough Council has agreed to participate in the Armed Forces Day by flying a specially-commissioned flag at 10.30am on Monday, June 21.

The intention is that the ceremony will be repeated across the UK and is an opportunity for the whole nation to show its appreciation to all those who served or have served in Her Majesty's Armed Forces.

The issue was raised during a recent Corporate and Central Services meeting.
