Clinic help for hearing loss in Cookstown
Trained volunteers, who wear hearing aids themselves, will be on hand to give free, practical advice on cleaning and maintaining hearing aids. They can help to solve any problems you may be having with your hearing aid and offer advice on how to manage your hearing loss with confidence.
Hear to Help Coordinator, Angela Stanbridge says:“For many people who are given hearing aids, simple issues like comfort, maintenance and batteries can be major barriers to using them effectively.

The initiative is a partnership with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust who have trained Action on Hearing Loss volunteers to assist people who may have issues and to signpost them to the Trust if they require hearing aid repairs or need their hearing aid programmed.
The Trust will also provide tubing and batteries for anyone who is experiencing difficulties.
