Civic centre to be lit up in solidarity after Paris attack
Armagh City, Craigavon and Banbridge Mayor Darryn Causby called for the move this morning (Saturday, November 14) as a show of solidarity following what he described as a ‘horrendous attack’. The lights will be on today and tomorrow with the civic centre lit blue, white and red.
Efforts are also being made to have the civic building in Banbridge lit up in similar fashion.

He said: “This was a horrendous attack. Words cannot describe the gruesomeness and absolute depravity seen on the streets of Paris. I could barely watch the news as this horrendous attack unfolded.
“On social media this morning everyone has been expressing their disgust and showing their support for the people of France.”
The co-ordinated attack by gunmen and suicide bombers took place across several districts in Paris with up 127 people reported killed so far.
