At 7pm the local Clergy Fellowship will lead the traditional Carol Service followed by Council Chairman, Councillor Marie Hamilton flicking the switch and lighting up the Christmas tree at the heart of the town centre.
The highlight of the evening will be the arrival of Father Christmas. With his sack brimming with Christmas cheer the main man will be meeting the local children to find out what they want for Christmas and just who’s on the naughty and nice list.
Christmas shoppers will have added festive fun as their present hunting will be accompanied each Saturday throughout December from 2pm – 3pm with a selection of seasonal sounds provided by the finest in local concert bands, details of which are as follows:
Saturday 29 November - Banbridge Silver Band.
