Car crashes into shop for second timein two months
Katie Moffett, who is the proprietor of Den Living, which sells beds and bedroom furniture on Longstone Street, couldn’t believe it when she was told that another car had smashed into her premises on Monday night.
The shop was closed at the time of the crash at around 7.50pm.

Hide AdTo make matters worse that very day the builders had just signed off the work carried out after the first crash which happened on Valentines Day when a car crashed through the window.
Katie said: “The damage is ten times worse than the first time. I am thankful no one was injured but am angry at the same time. I can’t believe it has happened again.”
She continued: “We were ready to start operating as normal and then this happens. We are open again for business but will be operating again from only one side safely.”
A spokesperson for the the PSNI said: “Police received a report that a car had struck the front shutters of a shop at Longstone Street at around 7.50pm on Monday April 16.
“The car did not remain at the scene, however the driver contacted police a short time later and was spoken to by officers.
“Police enquiries are continuing.”
