Cancer group benefits from annual service
There was a record attendance of 110 at the service which was conducted by Rev Charles McCurdy.
Leitrim Prebyterian Church Choir lead the praise with Mrs Eleanor Hilland at the organ.

Hide AdMember of the choir were sung during the service while Samuel Heenan gave his testimony the collection for cancer research was taken up by David and Stephen Harte and Geoffrey Bradford and afterwards.
Eddie Patterson welcomed everyone and thanked everyone for making the service a huge success.
Two other people were also thanked Betty Martin for decorating the hall and Samuel McConnell for supplying greenery.
After supper, Billy Maxwell announced that the collection came to £350 and Samuel McConnell handed it over to Billy Ferguson chairman of the Banbridge Action Cancer group who thanked the Benraw Lodge for their generosity.

Hide AdDessie Hamilton proposed a vote of thanks to the ladies for preparing the supper which was enjoyed by everyone.
Next Sunday night (November 9) the annual harvest and remembrance service will take place in Annahinchago Orange Hall at 7pm.
The speaker will be Mr Rodney Maginess and Drumlee Presbyterian Church choir who will lead the praise. During the service a special offering will be taken up for charity and supper will be provided. Everyone welcome.
