Accountants raise £5.2k with charity cycle
The money was raised from a sponsored 35 mile cycle between the firms Omagh and Londonderry offices. Forty-two staff members from both offices decided to take part in the cycle in support of their colleague, Edel McCaffrey, who was diagnosed with the illness at the age of 29 whilst expecting her second baby. Now, having completed treatment and given birth to her second son, Edel is on the road to a full recovery and regularly takes part in sponsored cycles.
Pretty ‘n’ Pink is the registered breast cancer charity for Northern Ireland and funds raised are used to provide practical help and support to breast cancer patients and their families across the province.
