Warning after dog attack on livestock
The calls were made following an incident in December where two dogs attacked sheep, killing one ewe.
Alderman Robin Cherry told members at Thursday’s meeting that this was becoming a very serious problem and said similar incidents had occurred on his neighbours property.

The farmer shot one of the dogs and he witnessed the other dog returned to a neighbouring property.
Members agreed that the dog owner will receive a formal caution in relation to the incident.
