‘Vegan Warrior’ packs a real punch
Whiteabbey woman Pauline Geddis raised the fantastic sum of £445 for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice through her participation in a White Collar Boxing Night in the Europa Hotel, Belfast last month.
Taking on an opponent more than 30 years younger than her, Pauline - aka ‘the Vegan Warrior’ - boxed three gruelling rounds to earn a closely-fought draw.
Pauline thanked everyone at Monkstown Boxing Club for all their help in the run-up to the bout, and all those who contributed to her fundraising effort.
