Eight NATO minehunters will make a spectacular journey up Belfast Lough tomorrow morning for a port visit at the end of the demanding Royal Navy led exercise.

The ships form the Standing NATO Mine Counter-Measures Group ONE and are currently under command of Lithuanian Commander Giedrius Premeneckas and his flagship, LNS JOTVINGS. Commander Premeneckas says the international crews are looking forward to their Belfast visit after a very busy exercise called JOINT WARRIOR.

“I look forward to visiting the Great City of Belfast after what has been a very challenging and beneficial exercise with our Royal Navy partners and the various international forces participating,” said Commander Premeneckas.
