Coming to your DVD player soon - The Ballymoney film Cupcake
John Leslie, from the town, who played a major role in the production, has revealed on Facebook that he has been attending various meetings in London concerning Cupcake.
A deal has been struck for DVD distribution with Dazzler media and is due for release via Amazon and many of the usual outlets on November 16.

Hide AdMany will be delighted at the news since Cupcake has not only proved a major with local film enthusiasts, but has also gained international acclaim picking up two significant awards.
Making its debut at the Belfast Film Festival in April 2010, it won the Audience Award.
It has since been named Best Feature at the Rhode Island Film Festival. It was recently screened on BBC.
Cupcake is a romantic comedy and was filmed on and around the Leslie Hill Estate during October 2009, directed by Colin McIvor, produced by Katy Jackson, and with Cian de Buitlear as director of photography.

Hide AdMr McIvor said filming on Leslie Hill estate was a true joy.
All associated with the making of the film said they had received warm hospitality from the Leslie family.
“Such a range of interior and exterior locations with their own very distinctive charm allowed me endless opportunities during filming. Leslie Hill is the character within Cupcake,” Mr McIvor added.
